First period project

ICTs are technologies that provides us to be able to communicate. I will be writing about the ICTs that are used in education.

Computers: Computerization has improved our way of creating and storing information. with computer we can easily acces webpages and improve our learning skills or learn something new. They are easy to get/ find and easy ro use.

Dropbox: The app automatically watches your Dropbox folder and keeps your files in sync for you. Any time you save a change to a file and are connected to the internet, that change will sync everywhere you have Dropbox installed.

Internet: People use the Internet more than the library for research, check email every day, think the Internet has improved their relationships with classmates, believe that email has enhanced their relationship with professors.

Monitors: using monitors in classes can help teachers make examples easier and get to explain it easier. We also get to see videos or photos in the projector.

iPad: The discerning use of digital technologies in the classroom can maximise learning opportunities. Students learn how to engage with the world around them, connect, collaborate, access information and acquire digital skills to participate in life and work.

Wikipedia: It can be a great resource for information. Research can be easily planned and implemented for the benefit of both students and educators. Some students are more readily exposed and connected to this source than others. 

Printers: It can be leveraged to create interactive visual aids for use in the classroom, which helps teachers communicate complex concepts to students. Educators can also take advantage of color in classroom handouts, games, activity posters and calendars. 

Google drive: its main purpose is to expand your ability to store files beyond the limits of your hard drive. Cloud storage is sometimes confused with online backup, which achieves a very different purpose using similar infrastructure.

In conclusion, I feel like these are the most important ICTs that are used in education. They are very important to know about because it’s what we use everyday in school.
